Freedom of information act against pharma companies?

Maybe this is preposterous, but there is a FOIA in the USA and perhaps it could be used against pharmaceutical companies to compel them to publicly disclose everything they know about PSSD and the most promising potential cure. The reason I specify the USA is because I assume that is where most of these companies are operated from, but I suppose some of them might technically operate from the UK, Switzerland etc. It seems likely that they know a lot more about it than anyone else. Is there anyone with the resources to look into doing something like this?
