What dose were you on?

I'm just curious if anyone here has gotten PSSD from a low or very low dose of SSRIs. I was on 10mgs of Lexapro with zero sexual side effects, went off for a while, starting taking 20mgs of Citalopram and Boom: Full-blown PSSD. I really do think that if I would have just stayed on Lexapro 20mgs, I would have never gotten PSSD. I could most definitely be wrong though.

I have a theory that most of us were taking a low dose and this created more of an oppurtunity for a shift in neuro hormones that left us in this state. Could be wrong, just a thought.

Jesus, there are just no straight answers. Haha. I just don't get why I was fine on Lexapro for so long and then Citalopram wrecked my penis. In fact, I felt better than I ever felt in my life on that shit. I really wish I could go back on it to be honest.

I got PSSD from 5mg and from 2.5mg Escitalopram

I'm not totally sure. Maybe Lexapro? I mean, Lexapro and Citalopram are very similar. They worked wonders for my depression though.

I think it's actually kinda rare to get it from Effexor. That's a pretty standard dose too. Hmm.
