They are controlling "the narrative" ...

It's ridiculous that they are trying to find a cure (WTF!!) for PSSD which is a iatrogenic
problem caused by antidepressants that don´t cure shit!
Big Pharma doesn´t want any cure for anything. They want chronic treatments so that everyone can
be milked...

RXISK never suggests restrictions on antidepressant prescription...

The message is to keep popping pills... and bad luck for those damaged in the process...

It would be important to know EXACTLY who is behind RXISK. There's a lot of manipulation on the net...
This "prize" idea is quite suspicious... For me appears to be a distraction tactic to divert attention and put everyone chasing unicorns...
David Healy did write that he's hoping that if something like this works it will change the customer consumer relationship where they keep feeding us pills to make us sick then feed us more pills.

He also said the cure has to be safe and his team without PSSD will be testing and taking it too...

He's been quite open that the cure can come from anyone anywhere, not necessarily a pharmaceutical company or somebody with a degree. He also said this kind of stuff on the 'lets talk withdrawal' podcast episode. I think he is very much for real and meaning what he says in multiple places.

Just to complement what fema4psychiatrists said

Seriously, ridiculous is keep whining about how bad big pharma is, how they are only interested in money... everyone here knows it...
As far as I know, RxIsk is about information, not activism against drugs.
The fact is, we need the big pharma, in one way or another we need them, unfortunately.

This attitude is so counterproductive... Makes me angry!

I have a lot of other symptoms besides PSSD, instead of whining about things and speculating conspiracy theories I chose to study, learn, try things and contribute. I dont want to live with this shit for the rest of my life... Since no professional could help me I decided to join groups like this, and be as helpful as I can. There is hope, our condition doesnt seems to be damage, just some kind of dysregulation. A lot of us has windows from time to time, others had temporary recoveries, others partial, another ones recovered naturally, others was able to induce a recovery using supplements and drugs(SWJ, Inositol, low dosing SSRI ffs...)

Imagine if Sonny, Ghost, Coraggio and others had the same attitude and kept whining why the big pharma is mean, we would be in a darker place.

One day someone told me why he doesnt like to talk to pssd sufferers, and know Im starting to agree...

Delta i understand your disbelief in finding a cure.

And yes, no drug can reverse the damage caused by another.

But as shadowman said, me and others have seen dramatic improvements naturally, and others have had some success with using random stuff!

If you take into consideration that the evidence we have about what causes pssd is very very poor, having success with treatments, even temprorary or incomplete, is a extremely positive.

Imagine if we run a serious scientific research (demands many millions though) and we shed light on the effects of ssris on our reproductive system!

We will be even closer, and PSSD will stop being as intimidating as now.

And last but not least, if people can recover naturally, there is certainly something that can provoke a recovery artificially.
PSSD after 9 days on cipralex 10mg (escitalopram), July 2013.
Had sexual sides from the first dose. Developed full pssd after i stopped.
Slowly improved to 70% of normal within 3.5 years.
"Crashed" again on April 2017.
Severe pssd again.

Just because something is persistant, it doesn't mean that any irreparable damage has occured, like delta suggests. Like you said, we have a poor understanding of PSSD.

Having said that, I can attest for temporary windows of 100% normalcy. Why would that happen if I had irreparable damage?

Let's remain curious, and please everyone, stop with the big pharma bashing. We all know how capitalism works. Any suggestions on conspiracies and alluding to coverups will be deleted.

I am in a chat with all of them. They are doing well. Everyone will be done with their cycle by Monday morning. Will be at least 1-2 weeks before we know the results.

I (and I am sure most people with severe PSSD) never had a single second where everything was back at 100%, not even close.
German fmri study about PSSD could be possible! Criteria: http://www.pssdforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1020

I wouldn't consider my pssd mild by any means. I'd say my pssd is a 6/10 overall in severity. I should have mentioned how many windows. In the past year it's been 2 days...thats it. I'm constantly trying stuff though. Right now I'm on clomid + dostinex and will be trying ru486 next
