Just visited a psychiatrist/sexologist who believed in PSSD

Unread post by Dark0047 »

Hi. I don't know if I should be happy or sad but it seems I am so depressed that a professional approved my claim. As I mentioned, I just visited a psychiatrist who is also expert in sexology. When I said about my problem, he 100% approved that and said that treatment with Prozac ( I took Prozac) can sometimes cause sexual dysfunction after discontinuation of the drug. It was the worst moment for me to see a professional approve such a thing. He also said that he almost begs other psychiatrists not to prescribe Prozac for their patients. But he said there is treatment for it but I doubt. I will visit him again tomorrow to see what he wants to do with this mess created by a retarded dickhead. I'll let you know what he says to me tomorrow if you are interested to know. btw, I took Risperidone for some days too. Can this stupid drug cause post sexual dysfunction too?

Wonderful news! Where are you from? I advise you to read the Wikipedia's page about pssd (https://it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disfunz ... _post-SSRI) that is updated and reliable and then advise your doctor to read it. There is reported that methylphenidate can reverse some symptoms (maybe Adderal could be even better).
Ask him to test all sexual hormone especially progesterone and the other one reported in this thread (http://www.pssdforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1050).

Then ask them about brain stimulation techniques (http://www.pssdforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1540).

I'm from Iran, he already asked me to test my hormones. I also showed him the RxISK article about PSSD and he said he 100% approves that. I will let you know when I visited him again. I hope I can give you good news

It's always nice to be believed. Prozac is the drug that gave me the problem as well.
