future-recovery wrote:Why are there no Chinese and Indian people with PSSD? I read that about 30 million people have depression in China. But I read that there are very few psychiatrists in China.
And only 15% of the population can speak English. Maybe one should inform some chinese doctors sometime or make a chinese wikipedia page. Though having an english wikipedia page would be more important. Nothing what we can do?

Ok, according to this http://wp.rxisk.org/no-sex-and-the-city/ there are chinese people with PSSD.

There are also many reports from Poland.

We need more activism. And by the way: Look, there's a foundation for the Post-Finasterid syndrom: http://www.pfsfoundation.org
Another site is http://www.propeciahelp.com
I've heard that it's quite common in the UK (which would fit in with my case because I'm british by heritage). I think that a big part of your susceptibility is genetics, so it's possibly more prominent in some sub-types than others.

We could hang up information sheets about PSSD in universities. We have to reach students because they are the next generation. Moreover I guess that students would be more open to PSSD.

We could also post information (including literature) about PSSD on public facebook groups of university courses.

Anything we can do to increase awareness about our condition is a step in the right direction.
