I still have concentration issues for sure. I had some before PSSD as well, so it's hard to parse out what is natural for me.

It's been so long now that I don't really remember what things were like before.

Crazy how you can forget what your state of being was like for 20 odd years, isn't it? I forgot until I had a window. It makes me wonder so much how different people see life just due to natural difference in hormone/neurotransmitter levels etc. Happy and sad people, positive and negative people, motivated and unmotivated people.

Sorry, off topic but just got me thinking :)

Same, I cannot remember what it was like pre pssd but apart from living on a sexual level like everyone else my entire emotional state was different I think
21, male, extreme pssd for four years
Tried inositol (slight improvements) cialis (very limited improvements) yohimbine (slight improvements) maca root (no effect) bacopa monieri (no effect) estradiol-17b (pronounced improvement in all areas of sexuality)

This. PSSD has sure taught me about all the silent struggles that people go through, whayeber it is. It's certainy made me more empathic. It hasn't been very long for me but I know what ghost is saying - you soon lose the framework of what once was as you continue on in this state. It's also that you probably don't take mental baselines of your sexual functioning before you lose it too.

During periods where my anhedonia is a bit better the only reason I can really tell there's a difference is because of the physical pressure in my head. It's quite terrifying that I'm losing track of the person I used to be. I'll never forget the real highs or lows though, and at least the former is what I need to get back to know I'm recovered
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature

Thanks, TalkingAntColony. It means a lot.

I found my old Lexapro prescriptions today and it really was a weird experience.

I held them in my hands and read the labels on the bottles.

I can't believe that only a few of those pills set me on this journey.

It feels like a lifetime ago that I got PSSD, but it's been just under 3 years.

I can no longer imagine a life where I hadn't taken them. Everything would have been so different.

An odd feeling for sure.

Crazy how quickly you forget, isn't it. I had forgotten until I 1. Had a window and 2. Read some very detailed descriptions about libido/horniness - brought it all flooding back and made me realise what a shit thing this is.

I get you.

Taking Bupropion and having a week long window was an incredibly empowering experience. It's crazy how much I took my sexuality for granted when I had it. My confidence was amazing for that week.It really put how profound PSSD is in perspective. If I could reach 100% again, it really would change my life completely.
