Antipsychotic ED Study NHS London

Unread post by fema4psyciatrists »

There is a study for anyone in England or London, about patients experiencing sexual dysfunction from starting antipsychotics. If you are in England or London maybe you can take part or get in contact? Ask for the PDF form as well.

Otherwise it is just at least minimally good news, that someone, somewhere, is taking some sort of interest in these types of situations.

Please visit the Remedy Study website, maybe they are good people to get in touch with? Anyone in the world can get in touch with them.

Website: https://www.remedystudy.co.uk

"Dear All

This is to let you know about a new study that is taking place in CNWL. The study aims to help people who have had problems with sex after having started to take medication for their mental health.

Up to a half of people who take ‘antipsychotic’ medication experience sexual side effects such as reduced desire for sex.

Details of the study are provided in the attached leaflet. If you would like to find out more about the study, please do contact Lesley O’Connell (e: l.oconnell@imperial.ac.uk; m: phone number redacted--) who will make a time to call you back to answer any questions you may have."

Anyone up for getting in touch with them?
