Psilocybin has been really interesting to play with.

I think that it has some potential to be like Ketamine in that it has a bounce-back in libido once your mood lifts and you sober up for a few days.

For me I don't really think sex would work when the psilocybin > psilocin activity is happening - in my experience i'm not horny at this time and one time i was with a girl while tripping and i could get it up but forget trying to finish, but the day after or even the days after seem to be better. Also, i don't know why I'd even be interested in sex when tripping, there is just so much self-reflection and sensations that I'm not sure it would be pleasant.

It's also super therapeutic for trauma/OCD/depression. You break out of your thought patterns for a few hours when you're tripping and you can see things differently and bring them back to your daily life. One of the biggest misconceptions is that tripping is just seeing shit. It's way more than that. It's a full body and mind experience and for me even has some weird spiritual presence which i see as secular but honestly like it's some sort of being especially at higher doses. Hard to explain. I spend a lot of my time drawing and taking pictures. A lot of my drawings I give away to friends and i get emotional and just overall a better person. You feel like you are 5 years old again. I don't understand how people can use it like a party drug, for me it's super introspective and combinded with Ketamine has cured my tendency to binge-drink. Drinking is no longer fun for me in the way it was and I love it.

MDMA scares me, but I'd consider adding some things to Psilocybin to see if I could get a different effect.

I had very similar experiences to you last time I took truffles Ghost (pre PSSD). The time before that however I felt extremely anxious and insecure, and have had friends who have had bad experiences also. Environment and the frame of mind you're in before taking are huge factors.

My experiences on LSD were incredible, but again you do hear quite terrifying stories so there is always a risk.

Yes set and setting are crucial. I've had better and worse experiences too.

I do think that it could really help my mental illness, but so far I haven't seen any PSSD benefits that were night and day.

LSD scares me a bit also, but i'm open to it at some point. Also MDMA has some great research with it now. What scares me about these is that I'm paranoid that my stuff wouldn't be pure, but i know there are test kits.

I find music enjoyable while tripping though, and as a direct D2 agonist, LSD can lower prolactin.

I haven't noticed any positive effects from occasional large doses of mushrooms either. Smaller but frequent doses however have had a positive effect. No idea why.

Perhaps the amount that receptors up- or downregulate doesn't increase or decrese linearly with dosage?

Hey man, sorry I don’t know the exact type of shrooms they were but I’m from Australia and I was just doing a bit of research and the most common species here is called Psilocybe Subaeruginosa. The photos I saw on google looked pretty similar to the ones I ate so there’s a good chance it was that one.
