I read symptoms can improve or worsen just after stopping SSRI, until some stabilization (before potential long-term improvement) in case of PSSD, but I didn't find any statistics on this early evolution. It could be interesting to understand.
Please comment if you think I should rephrase questions or statistics are available.
Please post your story: SSRI you took, how long, when did the symptoms arise, etc.

Me (short version) :
Mainly Escitalopram, 1 year. I stopped as soon as I lost my libido. Libido has not come back yet and anhedonia arose after one month.

I had absolutely no issues while taking the ssri, but I quit cold turkey. At first nothing, but within two weeks I was basically impotent, numb and no sex drive. Been like that a year.

I am quite surprised to have so many views (+100) and so few answers...
Are there lots of reader who doesn't suffer from PSSD? Or do they find my poll uninteresting?

So it should be a discontinuation syndrome rather than a PSSD, don't you think? It's more common and well documented, but it could last years, too.

Maybe so, honestly one could argue they are one in the same. I’ve always been under the belief that pssd is part of a discontinuation syndrome since even those that have symptoms on the drug get much worse after stopping

Nevertheless it’s a problem that is not so far going away on its own. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that I get back to normal. After a year though I am finding myself to be more inpatient..
