"In a study looking at brain scans of people with mild loss of thought and memory ability, Johns Hopkins researchers report evidence of lower levels of the serotonin transporter — a natural brain chemical that regulates mood, sleep and appetite".
"the researchers found that people with mild cognitive impairment had up to 38 percent less SERT detected in their brains compared to each of their age-matched healthy controls".

I mean it's pretty obvious what's going on here. My memory is shit, my emotions are numb, I have no sensation of tiredness or appetite, extreme sexual dysfunction. These fucking drugs caused me neurological damage and nobody is researching the obvious cause of pssd, which is loss of sert. This is so unbelievably frustrating to feel this powerless.

Re: People with mild cognitive impairment have lower brain serotonin transporters
Unfortunately that's how things are for the moment, I would like to know if there's any way to upregulate SERT or diagnose SERT dysfunction with a brain scam.Tree wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 8:29 pm "In a study looking at brain scans of people with mild loss of thought and memory ability, Johns Hopkins researchers report evidence of lower levels of the serotonin transporter — a natural brain chemical that regulates mood, sleep and appetite".

I'm not sure if they could brain scan people with pssd for sert dysfunction, but if they could, that might be the evidence we need for a lawsuit/research. Check out these other articles too regarding sert loss by ssri's.Opressorzx wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 9:54 pmUnfortunately that's how things are for the moment, I would like to know if there's any way to upregulate SERT or diagnose SERT dysfunction with a brain scam.Tree wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 8:29 pm "In a study looking at brain scans of people with mild loss of thought and memory ability, Johns Hopkins researchers report evidence of lower levels of the serotonin transporter — a natural brain chemical that regulates mood, sleep and appetite".
