PS. Here's a very interesting talk on some of what I attempted to summarize above (I started the link several minutes in for a reason, give it a minute and you'll likely pick up what he's talking about): https://youtu.be/swaFE-vkOMM?si=Y2IqFvkBRt8LsM20&t=725

Here, I don't know if anything is being done for SIBO, in fact it was only a year or two ago that I learned of the existence of SIBO.
As people with gastroenteritis always said the same thing: it's an irritable intestine, eat more fiber, drink more, play sports, I stopped consulting people who apparently don't know much and are no longer trained.
I think they don't even know what a no FODMAP diet is.

For SIBO, is this a kit to make at home and send back?

for the antibiotic, yes I had improvements for a few months, my sleep was better, I finally felt tiredness coming in the evening while here I am responding to your message and it is 1:37 am and I could still stayed awake for a while while I worked during the day.
In terms of morale, I was good because what a relief to feel my intestines moving again and to digest quickly despite the diarrhea it was causing which was the most annoying.
I felt like I had diarrhea-prone IBS.
level of genital sensation I wouldn't be able to give a rating but it was clearly better and that's normal given that the vagal tone was increased, there was better communication between the lower part of my body and my brain.
Now these effects are gone. Everything came back as before the antibiotic and taking this antibiotic for a long time is not really ideal because of the diarrhea and the weight loss that follows.

For ginger, I used it for a long time for its effect on digestion but I didn't know that it inhibited 5 alpha reductase, so I no longer consume it.

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look and for the treatment you're going to take, I don't think it's available in Belgium.
They even don't know what is SIBO.
