I just wondered if anyone knew of any recovery/success stories of people regaining genital sensation and orgasm?
Or even just stories of improvement in genital numbness and orgasms?

I had genital numbness and ejactulatory anhedonia/dulled orgasms, and fully recovered both. See my log thread for details.

Genital numbness and pleasureless orgasm are the two symptoms that have improved the most for me. Both are more or less normal for me. It's just ED and libido that I'm waiting for to come back.

The numbness went away after about a year. The pleasureless orgasm got better after like three years. It used to be one of my worst symptoms. I don't take any supplements.

Yes, I have mostly recovered numbness. Mine was really bad, total loss of sensation to the point I felt like a had a foreign body part in my jocks, it was not just my penis but 70% of my body, glans and saddle area the worst. I started seeing some recovery after nearly 3 months of worsening after withdrawal, then at 4 months I saw good improvement (40-60% sensation) followed by a bad relapse in numbness for 2-3 days and it instantly bounced up to 70-90%. Over the next several weeks it peaked at 95% but has fluctuated between 80-95% until I reduced my med again (reinstated in Jan at a micro dose to resume taper as my first taper was way too quick). At the reduction 5-6 weeks ago the sensation worsened a little to 70-85% the next few weeks slowly but in the last week or so I have seen big improvement back to 95% peak and symptoms are settling down again and even better than ever.

I never really had weak orgasms, in fact mine massively improved consistently after being drug free. Seen a libido and orgasm reduction while reinstated but the recent dose halving has seen big improvements again. Either way, my ejaculations and orgasms are better than ever (when super horny my volume puts porn stars to shame lol), even more so than pre depression or any medication.


My biggest complain is actually the odd erection quality. Super hard shaft but soft glans. The glans has improved but the reduction made it worse for over a month but it's bouncing back again. it's intermittent in nature which is odd(often shaft and glans hardness has reversals just thinking in a certain way) and I have mental control over the glans to a decent degree independent of anything else, really odd.

I am just 7 months in so far and have improved massively.

Did you ever try any supplements? Do you drink alcohol?
My numbness is as bad as ever and I’m over 3 years since last pill and 5 years since this all started.

How long Did it take for it to come back? I am extremely numb. No sexual sensation ot pleasure at all in my genitals or even butt and skin. No sensual sensation.

Also i have muscle numbness and no ability to orgasm. My orgasm is zero.

How long Did it take to come back? I Did not have it initially, but developed numbness and anorgasmia after crashes from B12 and ambien.

Pleasureless orgasms started getting better after three years and is now pretty much fully healed after 5 years. Numbness went away after about a year or so. I still have low sex drive/ED which comes and goes in windows/waves.
