Re: I can probably help you improve your symptoms
if you are willing to try this just switch beer for hops pills. I don't see a reason why this specific beer is needed

It’s not, it’s imperial. It has 70 IBUs. You can try hops pills too, but I wouldn’t fuck with any variable unnecessarily. This condition was otherwise permanent, so why not be as conservative as possible? It’s possible the alcohol was an important part of the equation. So maybe any beer high in hops content will do it, but I would at least try this with some beer with a lot of hops.

Op have you tried the hoppy beer without Naltrexone? I'm very skeptical that Naltrexone can help pssd from the research I've done. Alcohol on the other hand can possibly reverse some of the structural epigenetic changes caused by SSRIs.

I can’t remember for sure, but I’m almost positive I have. Of course you can try it without the naltrexone, but if it doesn’t give you significant improvements, you can always try the naltrexone. This is the only thing that worked for me in any permanent way, and it worked very quickly too.
Re: I can probably help you improve your symptoms
You claim to have drastic acute relief with this combo, but I'm concerned about the sustainability of this regime. Naltrexone is a 5-HT1A agonist, so you're probably getting relief from the excess 5-HT1A receptor activation. The problem is chronic activation will desensitize the receptors more, which might worsen symptoms. I can relate to your experience though because before I crashed from a 5-HT1A agonist, I would get some relief from consuming alcohol and weed together. This is no longer the case because my receptors are more desensitized after crashing. My general thoughts on the situation, from my experience and research I've done.lookingforacure wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 10:25 pm I can’t remember for sure, but I’m almost positive I have. Not just that- I’m claiming sustained relief for months in the absence of all drugs- including naltrexone and alcohol-
just by performing this protocol a few times. And this happened to me a year ago, I had to go back on lamictal as I was extremely suicidal again, and this in combination with the sertraline caused the PSSD again. I’m again beginning to sustain permanent benefits from reinstating this same protocol again. See my post history.
Also, fwiw, weed tends to crash me and I would recommend abstaining during the protocol to see just how profound the improvements are.
If anyone wants to chat with my about my experience, I’d be more than happy to speak somehow.

I could do a zoom meetup with a bunch of you if you want and explain my situation if you’re interested!

Problem is I hate beer. But I guess could make a sacrifice. I hope it has at least a little bit of sweetness otherwise it will be torture drinking it lol.

It’s not sweet, at all. It’s extremely bitter.
