Visual Imagination

Is your Visual imagination/memory as good as it was before? E.g. if you tried to visualise a tree, how clear is it in your mind relative to how it was before you took/stopped medication?
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement

Did you find any herb or medicine to improve it?

I've noticed this as well. I lump it in with the lack of memory recall and overall brain fog. According to the article below it's related to dopamine.

yeah, greatly reduced. its really a problem because i need creativity for my job and like this its almost as if i have no vision. but i think theres also an enthusiasm component missing.
when i trialled nsi189 i got super creative again, really a LOT, but it would make my mood horrible... never found a way to counter that, i think jaiho mentioned its a good combo with moclobemide

This is one the few times Ill jump on the bandwagon here. Ive been a "gamer" for many years; back before it was popular. I used to be able to imagine a character in my hand then write out long and very detailed backgrounds for my DnD characters; now I just draw blanks. I cant even maintain a sexual fantasy in my head... what kind of man cant.

Another thing I complain to moonwife constantly about is loss of vocabulary. By 8th grade, I read at a master degree level according to placement tests (was in the gifted program in school.) Some thing that comes with such a voracious appetite for read is a very extensive vocabulary (sadly never picked up grammar skills.. they always sucked.) Now Im constantly at a loss for words.. not in what to say but literally can not think of the word Im wanting to use. Its always right at the tip the tongue, but just out of reach.

Yes - to the point where even daydreaming has become a mentally taxing task. My inner monologue has also greatly reduced.

I struggle to follow through a visual thought. It's like in very little time I get distracted, but by nothing at all - if that makes sense. This inability to have a steady, linear thought process makes everything hard - from having a conversation to doing work. I have to write everything down to work out the most simple problem or else I forget where I was. This is most definitely since PSSD for me. I have to watch porn to masturbate because a mental fantasy isn't something I can sustain

Really surprised by how widespread this symptom is, it's so specific, when I asked this question I thought it'd just be me

I can't really form mental pictures in my head. I used to daydream a lot and had a full "inner-life". Now just empty-headed and emotionless. Really hard to comprehend

Im really surprised by how most of us have this symptom, especially to such a significant degree. Actually for me it was the first thing i noticed even before anhedonia when i started citalopram. I wonder if this means anything, or if its just part of the anhedonia etc.
Brief Symptoms:
PE - Anhedonia, less emotions - Test Atrophy - Numb body - Lowered libido = ED
24/7 tension, stress. Worse with lack of sleep, hungry, ill
"Pure-O"
Visual Snow Syndrome + DP/DR + Tinnitus
Insomnia, Fatigue
