Salt

Unread post by continue »

I have had improvements in the last 6 months, not still clear what caused them, and I still oscillate.

I'm also on a low carb diet, so someday I came across an article about SODIUM INTAKE in low carb diet. I tried it for 2 days and noticed it makes my PSSD symptoms better, mainly headache, loose stools and anhedonia. I'm feeling better overall, but I just said I can oscillate. When I feel I will oscillate a bit "downwards", I take sea salt and I feel better. I makes me NOT OSCILLATE (!!!)

This is an article by Raypeat about the importance of sodium intake in the metabolism of SEROTONIN, calcium channel, etc.

What do you think? Could our cure be as simple as increase sodium intake?

I'll keep my sea salt intake for a few days and see if I achieve better improvements.

Moreover, fluoxetine (SSRI responsible for MY PSSD CASE) depletes sodium in the body... :o   :?
