Re: Bunny Intro

Hi Bunny, sorry, what does BPD and TMS stand for? I just got pointed to the trauma hypothesis myself a couple of weeks ago and it all falls into place out of a sudden. I think traumatisation and PSSD both are true. And I think it is not one or the other. I think they relate to each other. BPD = Bor...

Re: Bunny Intro

New update. I've been on Addyi the last four days, the specialist had to fight hard with my insurance to get it for me. He says not to expect any changes for at least three or four weeks. The stuff knocks me out at night and lowers my blood pressure, so I have to be careful about overexertion during...

Re: Serzone/ talk to scientists

Huh. Okay, I was put on Zoloft as well for anxiety (well, OCD-related anxiety) and I was fine the first time. It was going back on the generic version that gave me PSSD (pretty much... overnight. lol). I was in a relationship and we were pretty hot and heavy right up until then. He's still with me. ...

Re: Do windows mean you will eventually recover?

I have definitely had windows (the longest was a week), but they haven't lasted. Other recovery stories involve windows that got longer and longer for people until finally that was their new baseline.

Re: Serzone/ talk to scientists

Did you start feeling the sexual/emotional side effects as soon as you started SSRIs? I'm only asking because I started at the same age as you (16) but never had sexual problems until I discontinued and resumed (at 21). Also, what condition were you taking SSRI's for? There seems to be a lot of peop...

Re: Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy- Timberline OP

Loss of Libido - this is a hard one to separate. If you lose the brain - penis connection, libido will fall a bit. Also, if you don't get hard, you won't really have full libido. Then, if you stress, you won't get full libido. This makes you depressed...again...hurting libido. It's a cycle This was...

Re: is pssd following a hypersexual phases / hyperstimulation ?

Idk raven. From what I've gathered here earlier, most of us seem to fit into some broad generalizations such as: (pre-ssri) hypersexual, anxious/anxiety, overactivity (oily skin for example), got pssd the second time we took ssri's and not the first. again not everyone fits these, but lots of peopl...

Re: is pssd following a hypersexual phases / hyperstimulation ?

Spanner in the works, but not me (female). I didn’t really figure sex (ie having an orgasm) out until I was about 20, and even after that I could never orgasm with a partner - only myself/toys. My Drive wasn’t hugely high either. Still, would take that 100000 times over completely absence of feelin...
